This is a tough one! There is somewhat of a mystery in my life. My parents are both right handed and I am left handed. I have always wondered where my left-handedness has come from. I think this unsolved mystery could definitely be a plot for a book. Pending title: Two Rights Make a Left.

My favorite fictional couple is Rapunzel and Eugene Fitzgerald. They are my favorite couple for so many reasons! I love how they each bring out the best in each other. While Eugene was teaching Rapunzel about the world, he was actually helping her learn more about herself and the woman she was to become. In turn, she was able to make Eugene tap into his inner child and help him see that the world can be full of wonder if you simply open up your eyes and heart to new possibilities. I especially like how their relationship began as acquaintances, grew into friendship and then blossomed into love. Their love is was so powerful that they were willing to sacrifice their very lives to save each other. Plus, I love that they never take each other too seriously.

The first thing that I do when I experience writer's block is I stop writing. I find that nothing good comes from trying to power through "the block." Instead, I will listen to one of my favorite songs or take a walk in order to clear my mind and bring my focus back to my writing.

I am currently working on the second installment in the Priceless Penny series entitled: Penny Meet Miracle. This book will tell the tale of how Penny met and fell in love with her first cat.

I get inspired by the world around me. I also find myself writing about my personal life experiences. And with six pets in the house, inspiration always seems to be wagging its tail at me.

The idea for my newest book, "Priceless Penny," was actually inspired by the incredible, true adoption journey of my tripod dog, Penny. She has overcome her disabilities and can do amazing things...like jumping over our three foot pet gate! I know that Penny's story will touch reader's hearts and hopefully, encourage people to adopt differently-abled animals from their local shelters.
