Whenever I had writers block i introduced a new character. This allowed me to then focus and change the book in a new direction.

I love the autonomy it gives me to drift into a totally new world, one that I have created, multi faceted and as diverse as I want it to be. I hold my characters close to my heart - they are a part of me - my creation, in some respects they have saved me. The sheer joy that someone may read it excites me. Sitting down to write for days on end gives me immense pleasure.

Firstly - don't worry! If you have a passion and a topic or subject that you want to write about just go for it. Follow your heart - forget about punctuation and the storyline - it will evolve with time as you grow as a writer.

Life itself! You only have to look around and every day inspiration is right infront of us. I love to write whether I feel inspired or not - for me writing is a creative release. The desire within me is so strong, I cannot ignore it.
