I've got two answers for this. The very first book I ever wrote for a school project. It was a dystopian novel about all teenagers being locked in jail, inspired by the song Teenagers by My Chemical Romance lol. It was moody and funny, and of course, terrible.
But I think back on it fondly.
The second is, and this is probably a cop-out, but the book I'm writing at the moment. I get so invested in my characters and story. When I write shocking, romantic, dramatic scenes, I'm fully in! It's like I'm not the one writing it, and wondering 'what'll happen next?!'. Then I get excited thinking about other people reading my book, and what they'll think.
