Lorne Oliver At the first restaurant I ever worked at the owners did a lot of the shopping. One day one of the servers got ahold of their shopping list and wrote down 2 cases of Fenueter. They went to a few different stores and looked up and down searching for it before realizing it was a joke. I always wanted to use it somewhere. The Alcrest Mysteries are based around a restaurant, so it was the perfect place. Only Chrys uses it as an insult calling someone a fenueter. I then Googled it and found out in the Urban Dictionary it is a word mean a really smelly womans part. Now it will be in every Alcrest Mystery.
Lorne Oliver The 2nd novel in The Alcrest Mysteries. It's still too early to give out much detail.
Lorne Oliver My wife had a job that involved cleaning out forclosed houses. The first house we went to is the exact same house Chrys and Spencer go to in THE CISTERN. It looked like the owners were in a hurry when they got out leaving behind an awful lot of their belongings. In the basement we found a wall of cinderblocks. This turned out to be 4 walls making a square with the only entry being a trap door ontop. My writer's mind went wild with the What if question.
