I have an over active imagination. Even when I'm not working on a story, my mind is still working on some angle. Sometimes it is regarding where I am at and what I'm doing, other times it is just a random stray thought.

I am currently working on a new story called Haunted by Darkness. It is very different from my debut novel, but my two beta readers state that it isn't a bad thing either.

Write. Every story deserves to be written. It doesn't matter if it is a full concept or idea, just write it.

I have several tricks that work. Sometimes I just write for 3-5 minutes. It doesn't matter if it is good, bad, I just write and see what comes from it. Another trick that I use is to work on something else. Start a new story and work on that for a while. Sometimes I reread what I have written and see if it works or if it jars an idea. I also am not a linear writer so I try to skip ahead and work on another scene or chapter.
