A.G. Moye Brad and Vicki Phillips in the Lightning in the Tunnel series. Why because they were so much in love, committed to each other and after their world was shattered by a nuclear bomb, they never gave up on trying to find each other. Never believing the other was dead as they lived in hell.
A.G. Moye A story that draws the reader in and can feel the characters, see them in their mind and can't wait until the next page to find out what is happening. The story has to have emotions, believably characters but don't necessarily have to be good characters, just the best on intentions. A.G.
A.G. Moye I started off writing a fiction book about a young man that lost his parents (IronHeart) just before his eighteenth birthday and one morning, I awoke thinking of a western in a similar vein but with some differences right after the Civil War had ended. This is a story of the mistakes young John makes in his journey to make a new home in Oregon.
A.G. Moye Most mornings I awake with a story flowing through my head. Usually picking up where I left off the previous night typing it on my computer. Since I write the story or scene in my head before placing it on the computer, it rolls over and over in there until I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Some days regular life prevents me from getting the scene down for a few days but that is okay, it gets improved by rolling over and over again.
A.G. Moye I normally work on two to three books at a time with one the main one unless my thoughts go to another replacing it as the main one. Right now, my main book is called "Saddle Spur" and it is a western. My secondary book is a straight fiction novel called "IronHeart" about a coming of age young man that loses his parents months before turning eighteen and finds out they had a past that could get him killed. My third book on the backburner as I call it is called "Jody's Dilemma" and that one is a science fiction about one of the characters from my Lightning In the Tunnel series that gets shot down and crash lands on an alien planet.
A.G. Moye Keep on writing, sooner or later you will finish the book your are on and then another if it is in you. Never give up and realize it will take a lot of time before your book gets noticed by the majority of the readers in the world. Very few authors unless they are a celebrity gets a best seller from the gate. Hang in there and keep writing.
A.G. Moye The best thing about being an author is you can let your imagination run. Storytelling is an art that I hope to perfect over time. I am like most authors, after a book is finished and published, it still sneaks back into my mind wanting to make changes to improve the story line even better.
A.G. Moye I normally write two or three books at a time so which ever comes to my mind when I wake up, that is the one I work on that day so I never really have writer's block.
