Hi Conan, Thank you for your kind words. Thank you also for the reviews you left on Like a Continental Soldier! You really made my day, particularly since you mentioned the camaraderie. It's always an element I appreciate in fiction, too. Alas, I have no more plans for Gilead and friends. Maybe one day, since I do have some fuzzy notions about what happens next. Obviously, there would be battle elephants. :)

I'm about halfway through my read (plus prequels new to me) of Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe series. I've also picked up Sarah Hoyt's latest Darkship book. It is serving as a little break in the Sharpe books, and it is quite the enjoyable romp. I'm loving it.
