I've been thinking for sometime that I wanted to write fiction, but I've had a difficult time dealing with dialogue. How many "saids" can you put on a page? I woke up one morning and began to write down one of my highly vivid dreams. And then I had a matching dream, writing that one down as well. It flowed.
Essaim is my first attempt at the world of fiction. It certainly isn't a typical story. I borrow the "if you hear this message" for my opening, but I close just as my dreams closed: A non-traditional ending. Imagine waking up at the end of a frightening dream.
