The idea for Sins of Summer just came to me at the end of this summer. The majority of my books form out of nowhere. I sit down and start to write. The book takes shape and more or less finishes itself. Most of the time, I never have an ending. In fact, most of the time, I only have a single thought. God is awesome.

Since my writing began as a vision in Beaufort Betrayal, I believe that everything which I write is inspiration from God. I take no credit for my writing except the errors I frequently make. One of my first books is an embarrassment. Due to my desire to complete another book, I hastily released it before the manuscript had been polished. I think that it was so shocking that I, someone who never considered writing a book, could do so. Still, I am proud of each of my books and feel that the message is of importance to someone. If I can make one reader smile or better, give peace, then I do not write in vain.

Currently, I excitedly await my latest Thriller, Confessions of an Assassin. Due to be released any day, I am so excited. This is by far the best book which I have ever written. While I wait, I am working on another Thriller, Sins of Summer. Writing is pure joy for me.

I certainly am not equipped to offer advice to anyone. Wait until I reach #1 status, then perhaps I will feel qualified. Still, I would encourage anyone with a strong desire to write to give it a try. Truly, never did I dream of writing. For me, writing from the heart works. I try to use every talent which I possess when I write. Since I have a background in medicine, I include some aspect of current health issues. My husband and I have been blessed to enjoy travelling. Several of my works are set in interesting places which we have enjoyed. A really great book is more than one which holds your interest till the end, it is one which allows you to walk away with new information. Even if it is only a great restaurant that you have never tried.

The possibility of transporting a reader to a different place. Maybe their life is wonderful and happy but maybe not. The opportunity to provide someone, reading my book, with a chance to smile or escape the pressures of their day thrills me. Maybe a reader will seek medical care for an issue which seemed unimportant before sitting down with my book.

I have never experienced writer's block. My problem is finding time to write all that I have in my mind. Writing is such a wonderful creative outlet for me.
