By going out and observing people. Experiencing life, which influences my stories. Or I get an idea that I can't stop thinking about and I have to sit down in front of my computer and start typing.

I've got 5 more thrillers in the works, one being the first book in a series. My next book to be released soon, Blood Ties and Alibis, is in my editor's hands. I've got the cover designed and things are almost ready to be published. I'm also working on a book trailer for this book.

Never give up. People will try to discourage you from writing, but don't listen. They are either jealous that you're doing something you're passionate about or they just don't like you. Don't listen to them. You're a writer for a reason.

Creating characters and getting to know them like they are friends. I also love editing my books. Most writers will tell you otherwise, but I love making my books better for readers.

I take time away from my book. Taking a walk, reading a book by another author, listening to music, going on social media, anything really to give my mind a break.
