My profession has always included writing and there are days that you hit a wall. I find walking away is best instead of forcing it - clear the head, turn to a fun activity, come back refreshed and when the work is calling to you. When it comes to books, I also find working on sometimes two projects can help so if one goes dormant for a bit you can focus on the other until the first set of characters get talking again!

I am writing a novel called Matchless - a contemporary romance. The blurb is: When a suitable date is needed for a big family event, and to avoid her grandmothers endless, horrid suggestions, Missy Bainbridge turns to online dating to quickly find a match. Without knowing how to attract a different sort of man then the free spirits she typically dates, she turns to the annoyingly stuffy businessman she shares her morning train commute with for guidance. What she doesn't realize is she is helping him instead.
