Hi Ms. Barker I just started reading On Wings of Love and when I was exploring your other novels I found another book that may be connected to it, is On Wings of Love a series? If so is Cade's Challenge the second book?
Becky Barker Hi Gabrielle - Yes, Cade's Challenge is a spinoff of On Wings of Love, but there are only two connected stories about the Langden brothers, not really a series. How do you deal with writer’s block?
Becky Barker After more than 25 years in the business, I can't remember ever having writer's block. More often, the ideas are there but the discipline to get the work done is the bigger challenge.The every day tasks of life often take precedence over creativity.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Becky Barker Just being a part of the publishing world in general; writing friends, publishers, editors, agents, readers, the whole industry fascinates me.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Becky Barker Most aspiring writers are already avid readers. I feel that reading is the best way to become familiar with pacing and plot development. After years of reading, the writing comes more naturally to me.

What are you currently working on?
Becky Barker As I mentioned earlier, I'm working on Zack Bartell's story, yet to be titled. I'd love suggestions that include the word Texas or Texan. I've never been very good with titles.

How do you get inspired to write?
Becky Barker I'm a long-time reader of romances and reading always stirs the juices of my imagination. :-) Also, re-reading what I've already written on a WIP pulls me back into a story, and then I'm hooked again.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Becky Barker My current WIP is the third book in my Bridleton series. I'm not sure about the idea of the original book, but this project focuses on Zack, the big brother of the Bartell family.
