Living with my beloved Calico, CiCi, who was a rescued kitty, touched my heart deeply. For years my goal has been to assist women who have undergone abuse, loss, or related heartache, and CiCi's story was a lovely metaphor of courage and recovery. In fact, she reached out her healing paw and brought my healing forward.

I think I was born inspired to write. I began writing when I was just a little girl --poetry, too. As I have said before, my problem is finding the time to write since I still work full time and commute the equivalent of another work week in time.

My next book, which will include a workbook, is already underway. Watch for it early next year!

Let your words flow --don't edit them right away. Often I use the Voice Memos app on my cellphone to capture what is streaming through my mind at the moment. Or I speak directly into the Notes app, which allows me to retain words that I can transfer later to a document.

I'm in love with words -a love affair I never want to end! It's one of the best feelings in my life to see my work published and to think how others will enjoy what I have written.

Actually I have just the opposite! My problem is finding the time to write, not finding something to write about.
