From my writing. I had a bunch of journal like sequences. I started working all those into a story. From there I just started creating the story based on my interests. I watch a lot of tv so I'm sure most my ideas come from seeing other stuff. But I;m also driven to have something unique. Most times with me its the style of my writing. But with my new book there's also elements of the story that I think are different.

I think about my story a lot. I wouldn't say I get inspired so much as I commit to working on it. With the blog i find that because people respond that's inspiring. But with a book you're really on an island. That can be tough.

Don't think its going to be fun or sexy.
Write a lot. It takes time to find your voice.

I don't really deal with it I guess. Sometimes I write. Sometimes I don't. If I was going to tell you how to deal with it. I'd say schedule time to write like its a job. I don't do that but that's probably why it takes me 10yrs to write a book.
