I have these sheets of copy paper thumb tacked to my wall that has each project listed and what I have left to do, or want to do, with each one. I cross off the stuff I have finished as I complete them and each morning I go into my office, spend a few moments looking over the sheets and seeing how much I have done and how much I have left to do. I always seem to focus one one individual thing on one of the sheets and it just goes forward from there.

I have two series, America's Ghosts and America's Lost Treasures, that I am working on. For the paranormal series I am almost done with a book titled, Alabama: Haunted Heart of Dixie, and for the lost treasures series I am working on a book titled Lost Treasures of Louisiana, which has an interesting story about Jean LaFitte and treasure buried/sunken in the bayou near New Orleans.
I'm also working on aTV series but I can't say much about that at this time :)

Just keep writing and never give up. Do the best that you can, write what you love, and don't worry about it if you get a bad review or three (everyone gets them, even the famous writers). Just keep in mind that you can't please everyone all of the time, focus on why you want to be a writer, and just keep writing.

I'm a terrible procrastinator (anyone who really knows me will confirm that), and it spills over into my writing. Whether its writers block or simply putting off what I have to do, I deal with it in the same way; I force myself.
With writers block I make myself set down at the computer and write. I don't care much what I write, even if it's just gibberish, but the act of actually putting fingers to keyboard seems to jump start me and get the creativity flowing.

I was approached by a TV producer from California about one particular legend that they were interested in. As I was doing some research on it I discovered that there were a lot of lost treasure tales associated with the Ozark Mountains. The more I researched and talked to people the more I knew that I had to write this book; the stories were just too interesting.
