Jason Hein The typical advice for someone who wants to be a writer is READ READ READ!!!

I, personally, read very little. Reading is essential, don't get me wrong. Creativity is essential as well. Most of all, however, I would say this..... Don't settle for a story that YOU don't get excited about.

If you can get excited reading your own writings, chances are someone else will too.
Jason Hein Without a doubt, the best thing about being a writer is being completely free to create! Anything that enters your imagination can take life in the form of your world. This, then, becomes an intricate layout of twisting tales that (if your lucky) will intrigue you as much as it intrigues your readers.
Jason Hein When I face an episode of writers block typically I will move on to a different story, or begin creating non-essential lore for the world. Poetry, short stories, or creating other details about the world always helps inspire me and work me through my lack of mental content.
