My inspiration comes from living life. I'm a noticer and a learner. I'll be reading or listening to a podcast when an idea will "ping" me. Or maybe I'll observe something that sparks an idea when I'm coaching or training my clients. When these books seeds come I jot down the concept and put it on the list of things to write. And the idea that consumes my attention is what rolls out next.

I'm in the throes of launching "Song of the Barren: Miscarriages to Miracles" and basking in the glow its pending release. But, right around the corner is a kids series that I've been processing for the past couple of years. I feel it's about ready to flow onto paper! I'm excited about this one because its a genre shift for me!!

I don't suffer from this often, it's more like fatigue for me. But when I do, I've learned to stop when the flow dries up. Taking a break to refresh is critical for me. I often need something colorful and fun to free things up. A change of venue works well, too.

Write! Don't worry about the mechanics, how you'll get published or anything else that bogs down the process. Just let the words flow. The details will work themselves out in the end.

Leaving a legacy and making an impact. I love helping others get further ahead by sharing what I've learned and wrapping it up in a book.

Song of the Barren came from a series of events that led to the creation of the book. I had some unfortunate life experiences which made me realize there was a need for this book to not only address pregnancy loss and miscarriage grief, but to provide support resources. But the driving idea to put pen to paper, was the miracle of hope.
