As I slept, I heard muffled voices coming from my living room and cautiously went to investigate. There were a host of people standing next to a coffin, but when I looked to see who was in it, my face was looking back at me...

I would go to the world my dragon series takes place...because I'm already here...on Earth.

While I enjoy reading, I'm currently working on 4 projects which I'm hoping to complete by fall, so I probably won't get to do much reading this summer.

I've been told I should write a book about my life, but then I ask myself what's so special about my life, and I can't think of anything. Maybe it's just the way I tell stories about things that have happened to me that people think are interesting...

For me it was easy, sort of. I had written my last book, He Walks with Dragons. As people started buying it, they started asking "When is the next one coming out?" and I said "What next one?". At the time, I thought I wrote it as a stand alone book. I thought about it and they were right. There was more of the story to write. So I wrote book 2, The Staff and the Orb. Now I'm working on a third book, The Dragon and the Crown.

You get to control the story, though sometimes the story controls you. For me, the two best things, I received a letter from the Pope, and I have a video of Sean Astin reading from my book. Yes, it helps to sell copies and make money, but the real reward are the memories, but those can't be bought...

I really don't know. I guess these ideas are just running around In my mind, cluttering things up. By writing them down, it gets them out of my mind, and things get a bit less cluttered.

I am currently working on the third book in my dragon series, The Dragon and the Crown. I am also working on sci-fi short stories as I think of them, so I can eventually release an anthology.

You might find this hard to believe, but I play World of Warcraft. While I play the game, my current project is turning around in the back of my mind. Once I get an idea, I minimize the game, write a sentence or two, a paragraph or so, or 4-5 pages. Then I return to the game, to find that some creature came along and killed me while I was gone, because I didn't bother to find a safe place to stand while I was away, but I guess a death is worth it, no?
