Everything inspires me, literally. Someone could say a singular word. Then my mind works a million miles a minute thinking how I can make a journey out of it. I'll be sleeping in the middle of the night. My eyes will pop wide open. Why? Because a dream gave me the visions to pour the visuals into a book. Imagination loves me.

I usually work on two/to/four books at a time. I'm an author with one humongous imagination.
However, if you need a direct insightful answer. I will say the House of Blood series, and my R e a l m series books.

My advice for aspiring writers is don't be a perfectionist. Don't feel you have to stop continually to rewrite, check for spelling errors -- just write. Write to a point that feels good. If you feel it isn't what you wanted to convey. Don't delete it. Print it. Save it. Sometimes re-reading your words and idea's can make you feel a step closer to the story. When you see notes before you this often helps you organize the over all picture. Even if you have to storyboard the idea. Don't feel ashamed doing stick figures. Whatever helps you feel in control and less lost.
Lastly, never give up. When you give up then you will never know how many people you'll be touching with the characters/worlds/creatures you could have created for a reader.

The best thing about being a writer is being challenged. I love being challenged by the characters personalities. I consistently try to understand their madness. What makes them tick. Why is one emotional. How is this person came into such power. Could a character truly go far beyond the mortal comprehension to make things impossible as an antagonist. I love having that sense of empowerment over their futures.
The other best thing about my creative writing is having full control over my own illustration work. I do love making the presentation as I foresee it representing my story.
Lastly is the fan's. To hear their commentary about a character thrills me. I feel there excitement. I treasure their enthusiasm loving the hero, or boo'ing the enemy. This is what fuels me to write all variety of genre's. I want to explore more, and give more to the reader who enjoys being escaping into my imagination.

I am a very different author when it comes to tackling writers block. Usually I have three books going at a time. One is fantasy, other is fiction, and last is artwork (or) poetry. When one book wrestles me into a position I cannot decipher at the time. I move to the next book and continue moving forward. When I feel that I've regained some sort of inspiration for the one that put me into a block. I return to it fully rejuvenated. Strange I know, but it helps me not feel as if I'm dead in the waters of my creative flow.
