Diane Fanning Sorry but I just saw this message. I do not get nightmares. I thinking the act of writing exorcise those demons for me.
Diane Fanning Sorry I did not see your message when you sent it. You need to get into flow and channel the emotions you need to write about both happy and sad. I recommend reading WRITING IN THE FLOW: A WRITER’S GUIDE
By Susan K. Perry, Ph.D.
Diane Fanning I'm sorry I did not see your message sooner. I do have a newsletter. You can sign up on my website http://dianefanning.com. It's just below my photo.
Diane Fanning I've found that being to write in multiple ways and places helps chase writer's block away. If you find yourself staring at a laptop, pick up a legal pad and a pencil and try that for a while. Or try dictating. Or move around. If you are not being productive at your desk, move outside, or to the sofa or into the dining room. Whatever you do, just don't sit and stare while you feel frustrated. As the old saying goes: Don't keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting the different result.
