What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
North Taylor This is a tough one. I can't think of any mysteries in my life that are suspicious enough to be a plot for a whole book. One time when I was younger, I was messing around with a walkie-talkie and started getting some mysterious static. I thought I could hear a voice through the static, but could never make anything out. I suppose that could be turned into a mystery book, couldn't it?

Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?
North Taylor The police found the bodies last night. Took 'em long enough.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
North Taylor Easy. I would travel to the incredible world of Neal Shusterman's Scythe. The entire idea of not being able to die is so interesting, and I'd love to explore all the things one could do with that kind of ability. My only concern would be that I would get gleaned by a Scythe, but chances are I'd be able to fly under the radar. I think I would have a lot of fun there.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
North Taylor I'm looking forward to reading the Red Rising series a lot. I've heard good things about this series and have already started the first book. It has some really interesting world building and good action. I'm excited for the rest of this series and am hoping the sequels are just as good!

Also, I'm hoping to get my hands on some more books by my favorite author, Neal Shusterman. I want to read All Better Now and especially Undivided, which I have extremely high hopes for, since I loved the rest of the Unwind series.

Michael Crichton is also on my list, since I adored his book Sphere. I'm hoping to read Jurassic Park, the Andromeda Strain, and Dragon Teeth-- which I started, but it went back to the library before I could finish it.
