Hi Papaphilly! I'm not sure when the next book is coming, but I can tell you this: my agent is currently shopping one of my novels (though no bites yet), and I have another that I plan to send to her in the first part of this year (a sort of mystery with light SF elements). In between I wrote another one, but did so knowing it might be a little too strange and dark to be super-marketable (I was right)...once my current novel is submitted, I may self-publish that one (it's a kind of 'big idea' novel with a lot of graphic body-horror elements) but haven't decided yet. I notice you enjoyed Alice, thanks for checking it out!

It was available in paperback and will be again very soon - I changed the cover from the original after reader feedback and they're in the process of switching everything over (that's why paperback is currently unavailable). It's taken longer than I expected, but from what I hear they are almost finished so it should be back up sometime next week.

Hi Papaphilly! I may write under another name in the future, but alas, it won't be James K Decker...for now I'm writing under my real name exclusively. I don't have any immediate plans to revisit either world, though it's been on the back burner for me to write a Revivors novel that follows Calliope specifically during her time in the Grinder between State of Decay and The Silent Army. I have it outlined, but right now I'm embroiled in a couple different projects...
