Hi, Am!
I have to tell you, Mateo has received more fan mail than any other character I've created. While you make a good point regarding the books being about Evie, Mateo's sisters, and not Mateo, at the time my agent was shopping what became Once Perfect, we only had the one novel. I didn't have the others planned. My editor at Random House jumped on the novel and the series potential. The sisters were then developed to lead their own stories. As a result, Mateo became the link, or rather, the connection to the remainder of the series. If I were to write from Mateo's perspective, I think we would just have a carbon copy that would take away from the original story. Evie needed a hero and he became just that for her. Thank you though, for wanting a novel for our guy.
I appreciate your kind words and for referring my work to your coworkers and friends. It's fans like you who have helped my career be so successful!
Thank you, again,
Cecy

Hi, Nana!
I love SALVATORE. My plan was to give the other characters their own novels. My problem is compared to my other series, SALVATORE sadly did not receive the attention he deserves. As a result, my other series has to come first. One day, I hope to return to that dark, gritty, and very sexy world.
Thank you for writing me!

Hi Lyn,
I really like your question. Emme recently started her own journey in Touch of Evil. Misha has his own quest to find true love and that will come with time.
I hope that you continue to read my work and I apologize for how long it took me to respond.
Stay safe out there!

Hi Vanessa,
I'm sorry it took me seven months to reply! I ended up not writing Angus and Molly's story. The main reason was (for what I had planned for them), it was going to be a sad novel. I decided to end the series with a bang which is why Save Me, Seamus's novel was written as it was. This way, my beloved O'Briens receive everything they deserve.
I think if you finished the series, this makes sense.
Thank you for writing me and for reading my work. Stay safe!

Hola, Berenice!
I apologize for taking so long to respond to your rather awesome question. Misha is rather likeable for a man slut, isn't he? I love Misha. His happily ever after, and his own novel will come in time. Just not soon enough for some fans.
Thank you for your kind words. I've given my series my all. I hope you continue to enjoy my work.

Hi Lily,
What a beautiful name. I appreciate your question and it seems that you really enjoyed the novel. I apologize but due to time constraints, I don't have plans to release BURIED DEEP (book II) in the near future.
I apologize it took me so long to reply to your question.

Hi, Ashe!
Thank you for reaching out to me. Most of my published novels are more geared for the 17+ age group related to violence, trigger warnings, and yes, sexy-time, too. I do have young fans. One little sweetie wrote book reports on Sealed with a Curse and A Cursed Embrace. I tend to be more cautious. If you're like me, I would only suggest Gone Hunting for your niece at this time. As she grows older, my work would be more appropriate.

Hi, Kacie!
Yes. Emme and Bren's story will begin following Taran's last novel Of Flame and Fury which releases end of February. The big news about Emme and Bren is that it will be told from dual perspectives.
I apologize that it's taken so long for me to respond to you. I thank you for being a fan of my work and hope you continue to enjoy the Weird Girls series.

Hi Jess,
I apologize it's taken so long to answer your question. To go back to how they were all created, we'd have to go back centuries. It wouldn't work in keeping things modern. In Gone Hunting, you see more of Aidan Conner (Aric's father) as well as more about the wolves since it's told through Aric's perspective. Yes, all the characters have potential for more. I just have to find the time to write all that "more."
Thank you again for writing me and for your love of my Weird Girls. Again, I apologize for the delayed response.

I love this question so much. Thank you for reaching out to me. Right now, I don’t have plans to tell Lucca’s story. I just have too many books to write – which, believe me, is a great problem to have. When I do you have time, I will make a formal announcement. Thank you so much for reaching out to me. - Cecy

Hi Ellie,
Yes. Misha will eventually get his own novel. I'll admit, it may be a while yet, but I'm determined to give this sexy vampire with a heart his happily ever after.

Hi, Sara!
Thank you so much for your kind words and your excitement. A Cursed Bloodline and A Curse Unbroken were released through Random House. The publisher chose not to release the books in print. The other novels that follow, Of Flame and Light, Of Flame and Fate, Gone Hunting (releasing October 24th), and the novellas releasing in the next few months are/ will be available in print.
I hope you continue to enjoy the novels. As per why I did what I did at the end of A Cursed Embrace, it comes down to Celia not having a choice and realizing her life has to move forward within the bounds of the supernatural world.
I hope my explanation makes more sense as you read through Cursed by Destiny.
Thank you for contacting me!

Hi Renatta,
Thank you for reaching out to me!
Sealed with a Curse, A Cursed Embrace, and Cursed by Destiny are available in print. The only novels that are not at this time are A Cursed Bloodline and A Curse Unbroken. They are released and published with Random House so I don't have control over print rights. My apologies.
I just received my rights back for A Curse Awakened, The Weird Girls, and A Cursed Moon. They are novellas I hope to be able to make available in print in either September or October of this year. My hope is also to include them in an anthology along with a new short novel from Aric's point of view. Fans of the series may question how Aric's wolf recognized and would visit Celia's tigress, long before they supposedly met. This novel will answer the question.

Hi, Elba!
Thank you for the wonderful compliment. As a Latina, it's very important for me to portray my Latino characters as multi-dimensional and delve deep into their personalities. I don't think that happens much. Like you, I've noticed too many cringe-worthy stereotypes. Brody and Lety don't get another novel. It makes me sad. I love them, too. They do make appearances in Once Pure, Once Kissed, and Save Me. In Save Me, you really see how they're doing and how their Happily Ever After continues. Thank you for taking the time to write me and for loving my characters!
Best wishes - Cecy

Hi Antonella,
First off, lovely name! Thank you for writing me. I'm so sorry it's taking me so long to respond to your question.
I'm currently 77,000 words into SAVE ME. And, no, Angus isn't up yet. This book is all Seamus and his chance at love.
I'm hoping to release SAVE ME this spring. I'll be honest, my writing deadlines are killing me. I'm writing as fast as time and my little fingers will allow.
Thank you, again, for writing me--and for your obvious love of the O'Briens. I'm thrilled you refer to them by name!
Happy reading!

Hey, Beck!
I apologize it's taken so long for me to get back to you. Yes. What happened to Danny is told through Bren's perspective in my novel A Cursed Moon. I had so much fun getting into Bren's head. So if you haven't read A Cursed Moon yet, I hope you'll give it a chance. If not, no worries.
Thank you for writing me. Again, I'm so sorry for responding so late!

Hi, Hannah. I apologize for the very, VERY late response. *takes a breath* Here goes: I apologize for my delayed response. Taran will receive at least one more novel, Of Flame and Fury. Emme will receive at least two novels. Shayna will receive at least one. Celia will end the series with two more novels. Now worries, there is already a spin-off planned with brand-new characters. I'm tossing around the idea of writing a novella from Aric's perspective. Die-hard fans of the series might remember that his wolf spoke to Celia's tigress long before the pair ever met. This story will explain how. My hope is to market it as an anthology if I'm able to obtain my rights back for the other novellas. Than you for taking the time to write me, and for your commitment to my series. ~ Cecy
