Write. Sounds simple but just start typing, even if what you write is (in your head) a load of rubbish. The good start will start to come. This has worked for me.

Really ensure your grammar and punctuation are up to scratch. So many people don't realise the mistakes they make. Obviously getting a proofreader is a must. Read other books in the genre you want to write in, but not just read them, understand them and think about why the writer has written it this way.
