Hi Nicole, Can you please describe or define taffeta? I have a lovely new dress in vintage '50s style that is made of silk. It has some body to it. Might it be taffeta? It is not China silk or whatever that thin, softer, slippery silk is called. It's a fabulous dress and I wish I could send you a picture. thanks, Kate

Nicole Jenkins Hi Kate, apologies for the late response, I've only just seen your question. Taffeta is a lovely, crisp fabric so it sounds like it could be the right one. You can compare your fabric to the Vintage Fashion Guild's fabric resource entry on taffeta and see if it sounds familiar. I hope this helps.
