Write... write... write. A wise professor once told me to write about anything in life. Whether it be walking you dog or checking your mail, there is ALWAYS an epic story to be told doing the most simplest of things.

I got the idea for this book two summers ago when I wrote The Tempest Book 1. I actually have the next 4 books mapped out on the main theme and conflict of each one. I also have several characters not even introduced yet that I am looking forward to. That is probably the most exciting part is having characters you know will change the entire course of each book, but having to wait for the right moment to make that come to fruition.

I use music as a means to inspire myself. Depending on what type of scene I am writing, the music sets the mood and spirit of the moment. There's nothing better than playing a long string of epic cinematic music while writing a huge battle, or a soft, intimate song while delving into a love story. Good stuff!

I am currently writing The Tempest Book 2. I started this book in the middle of June and have come a long way already with this storyline. I fully anticipate to be done with book 2 and have it ready for publishing by the end of this year/Winter of 2016.

I use a lot of music, mostly YouTube to find the kind that I like. I also try to write in a quiet area. Where I live I have a basement I can go to write. Sometimes it just happens. I can go months at a time without writing a single word. Time and patience are the two biggest ways I deal with writer's block.
