Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?
Ian Copeland She felt a strong emotional wave wash over her when the doctor said there was no way to save her husband.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Ian Copeland There are so many to choose from, but I will have to settle on The Lost World (Michael Crichton). To see dinosaurs in their natural habitat would be fascinating.
What would I do there? Die, I assume, but hopefully stay alive long enough to witness those terrible lizards!

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Ian Copeland One mystery I keep coming back to is how, with all the advances in medicine and technology, we still don’t have a mouthwash strong enough to actually eliminate plaque properly to the point where we don't need dentists (or dental hygienists, at least).
We can model the atmosphere of distant exoplanets, build AI that can make music people think is a real band, and put robotic implants into the body, but tartar is a step too far? Suspicious, if you ask me...
