How do you get inspired to write?

Elly Stevens I was a born writer, writing stories and scripts as soon as I learned to print the alphabet. My family was always telling stories and I wanted to share mine as well.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Elly Stevens I've lived near the Erie Canal for most of my life and my grandfather worked on the canal in the early 1900s.
