A shiver, spawned by a swirling frigid wind, traversed my spine as I walked down deadman's lane, a dark and desolate shortcut through the industrial edge of town where only the homeless would dare to live. It was after midnight, I just passed a group of silhouetted figures huddling around a fire barrel when I hear footsteps behind me, my eyes widen, I pick up the pace swallowing hard to push my heart back into my chest when I feel a heated breath against the nape of my neck.

I would actually like to visit Emain Albach, the Gaelic mythology world that features in my works, The Delta Witch Chronicles. Visualising the landscapes, the peoples, and the complexity of layers that I've added via my own imagination would be exhilarating to see first-hand. It makes me wonder if the inhabitants would be friendly or hostile based upon the choices I've made that impact on their very existence.

There are too many in my own mind to answer, to be honest. What's a mystery? I could start with being adopted, there's a truth to the story, a truth I don't know all the answers to... could it be simple or is there something more to it? Truth be told, it could probably be neatly bundled together in innocence or it could be a plot submerged in lies, deceit and double crosses. Either with a twist would make a great read

My favourite would be Tristan & Isolde. The tale of romance between a Cornish knight and Irish princess. A passion born from adversity , twists into a love triangle with King Mark and ends with the tragedy of death. My favourite story in the many Arthurian legend literary pieces.

Currently working on a novel called Leannán. It's book 2 in "A Wiccan Tale" series. Jane and Aunt Claire return while a few other characters from "The Black Locust" play a bigger part such as Abby, Rachel and Natasha while there are new characters being introduced into Delta community. This new tale twists its way back to Emain Albach and beyond.

I love the creativity, to produce a story that entertains and open peoples imagination to new world and possibilities. Surprisingly for me as a writer, is the amount of time that you spend there in your mind. Like your a 3rd party watching your characters in real life, analysing and creating new plots to further develop into the stories that will make it into a novel (no I'm not crazy, lol)

I've only really experienced this once on a manuscript but it lasted for the best part of a year. I was in a space where I just couldn't decide where to take it where I was happy with it while staying true to where I wanted the plot to go. I found the best thing to do was to take a break, to put it down and walk away. This gave me time to write a new storyboard to a different novel which has now given me a new direction for the original manuscript
