Glenn Cameron My most recent book is my real life experience of walking through grief after the loss of my wife. What motivated me was the hope that others might find some benefit in my story as they work past their own unique story of grief.

My story is not focused on the dark places but the hope I found to overcome grief. The hole remains in our heart forever, but to quote Rabbi Scnhuer Zalman, "...there is an unbelievable amount of vitality in a broken heart." In that, I smile gratefully for every day I am given and the blessing around me.
Glenn Cameron I have no books in progress at the moment. I would like to write a children's series based on the family of stuffed animals my sister and I played with as children. When I was younger I loved to read mysteries. I read so many Nancy Drew books and had a large collection of Hardy Boys. I wonder where my mother put those? ;-)
Glenn Cameron The first advice I give anyone who speaks to me about writing is to read "Big Magic" by Elizabeth Gilbert. If I had not read her book, mine would almost assuredly remain unpublished. I believe many authors, myself included, struggle with the notion of 'why would anyone want to read what I have to say?'

When writing, if I am having trouble getting words on the page, or composing what I want to share; I walk away and come back later. I do something completely different from creative work. Go for a walk. Work in the kitchen. I find that in those distracted moments, Ideas will start flowing into my mind again.
