I am re-reading Torpedo Ink "Vengeance Road" not for lack of anything else to read, there are plenty of good reads out there but sometimes I want to visit with old friends I've found in books and go back to beginnings. This was a complex relationship in this story, on a touchy subject. Do you think at some point you will write stories for the Torpedo Ink children? For Shane or Czars kids?

Christine Feehan I never say never, as you know. But, I need to concentrate on the current members of Torpedo Ink first.
I do write about the children, they just aren't old enough to have their own stories.

Hi Christine, I'm Susan. I absolutely love your Torpedo Ink books..I feel like the characters are "real" and that I know them personally when I'm done with the book. My question is how do you decide who to dedicate the next book about?

Christine Feehan Do you mean the dedication of the book or which character will be the main focus of the book?
I dedicate books to people who have inspired or helped me.
I choose which character according to which one seems to be yelling at me. lol

Christine Feehan To be honest, I don't read horror. It's not my cup of tea. I do like a lot of suspense though.

Hi Christine! Any updates on when the next Shadow series and Leopard series books will be released? I actually read your entire series, so I would really appreciate any news. Sidebar: I've been reading your books for over a decade now, and I'm still just as excited for a new book as I was when I first started reading them!

I have no news about the Shadow series at this time. I have an idea for a book, but have to write the stories my publisher asks for first.

“The Dark Joy” is an intriguing title — it reveals a deep psychological layer, like a bottomless well. I believe it represents half the success of your book. Am I right?

Christine Feehan Hello. The title is actually Dark Joy. It's part of my Carpathian series. I do believe the title gives a hint at what the book may contain.

Hi Christine, I love your "Torpedo Ink" series. All the books have the guys finding their "woman". Would you (or could you) consider writing one where the guy doesn't "get the girl"? That would be interesting.. Thanks for your time and great books! Susan

Christine Feehan Hi Susan! I write romance. That is a genre that promises a happy ever after in the end. The guy always gets the girl.

Ms Feehan Jim Frangione keeps pronouncing Eli Perez's name wrong and keeps calling him Ellie. Could you please inform the narrators how to pronounce the names correctly?

Christine Feehan Hi Tracy! I'll go listen to that. It's an older book so there's nothing that can be done at this point.
Recently they have been asking me for pronunciations. I'm very happy that they do that now.

What type of books do you enjoy reading? Or do you read your own books ;)

Christine Feehan I read my books only when I need to get ready for the next one. Or to refer back for information as I'm writing a new book.
I love a variety of books. I'm not much of a horror reader, but I love a good thriller. The books I read need to have some romance in it. It doesn't have to be the main focus, but it needs to be in the story.

Hi! Your books are great! What is the Weapon from "Deadly Storms"? You said it was " black Onyx beaded bracelet" I believe. Is this a real weapon? Google was of no help :)

is it necessary to read the books in the order that is posted.. example: if the series have 12 books......must u read books 1 or can u skip around....?

Christine Feehan For the most part you can read all of them as standalone.

Hello Christine, I love your Dark series and got to wondering-- When you’re creating an extensive world like the Carpathians in your Dark series, research is a given—every author knows it’s necessary. But how do you decide when enough research has been done to back the lore you’re building fully? Do you ever reach a point where the questions stop, or is it always ongoing even after your world and lore feel established

Christine Feehan I don't think the questions or interest in the research stops but I do have to put on the brakes after a while. I love the research and can go down a rabbit hole on some subjects. LOL
I might do days of research and only one sentence, scene or paragraph will reflect that. You don't want to overload readers with information just because it's facinating though it can be very tempting.

Hello, I read one of your books a year in the Ghostwalker Series. I'm thinking of starting a second series of yours to complement my reading with additional romance reading. Which would you recommend as I've only read in the Ghostwalker series so far? I like the idea of the Sisters of the Heart/Sea Haven series. but I'm unsure if i should do that one or Leopard People series.

The Drake Sister and the Sisters of the Heart are very near and dear to me. It's sisterhood, love, romance, small towns and a bit of magic.
The Leopard series is more on the erotic side but very romantic as well.
