Kathy Hoopmann I can do it in two words: Evil wins.
Kathy Hoopmann Currently, as I live in Australia, I am settling in with my Winter books - think fireplace and light rain outside. I have decided to reread John Marsden's Tomorrow When the War began series. I loved them when they first came out and I am very much enjoying them all over again. I am also reading Claire North's latest book, The Sudden Appearance of Hope. Brilliant stuff.
Kathy Hoopmann What happened in the Rub al Khali that changed my life forever?
Kathy Hoopmann I had to think long and hard about this answer as I read so many different genre and each one has different favorite characters. But in the end, I chose Artemis Fowl, the child genius, and Holly Short (the fairy from the LEPrecon Unit) from the brilliant Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. An unlikely couple (the age difference alone is mind boggling) with a spark of respect that grows to a deep friendship.
Kathy Hoopmann Hey there, I am very glad you enjoyed All Cats, but I agree it is not very helpful for a workplace situation. Here is a link to Jessica Kingsley Pubpishers website that has many books related to autism in the workplace.

I hope that helps.
Kathy Hoopmann J.S. Kiss and I were talking on skype (I live in the United Arab Emirates and she lives in Hungary) and the idea of writing another book came up. By the end of the conversation we had a plot. Simple really when two minds work well together.
Kathy Hoopmann I'm not sure how to answer this. How can you not be inspired to write?
Kathy Hoopmann I have three books due out in the next few months, so I am working on final edits of those. Also my publisher wants to transform another of my novels into a graphic novel and so I have just started working with the illustrator to create the comic characters. And top off all that, J.S.Kiss and I are working on our second co-authored novel. Life is never boring!
Kathy Hoopmann Um, write. Don't give up. Don't take rejection personally.
Kathy Hoopmann I love creating characters that take over and do whatever they want. I love sitting back at the end of a writing day and wanting to know what happens next, but realizing that I actually have sit and write the next chapter before I find out. I love crafting words and making them have a life of their own.
Kathy Hoopmann Sheer persistence. Basically I force myself to write. Writing is a discipline. But along the way I am an expert at Plants vs Zombies, I listen to music to get ideas flowing, go for a walk on the beach or simply stare outside at the sky and trees.
