Music has always been my constant source of inspiration for me, and that is where I find the majority of my inspiration for writing.
A key phrase within a song sometimes prompt a thought, and it turns into so much more. Sometimes I hear a singers voice and an image appears in my mind, who almost immediately becomes a new character that I am drawn to write about for my stories.

The best way for me to deal with writer's block is to take a break from social media and go take a walk outside! I know for most people that leaving FB, IG, YT, etc. alone for more than an hour can be challenging, but I swear this works! Go outside and take in the surroundings around you really clears your head and before you know it - boom! Writer's block be gone - lol

Kpop. And my struggles with being a black girl (umm...woman-lol) that is into kpop. My love of a good soap opera sparked a few great ideas for this book too, so seeing how people will respond to it should be interesting :-)

I would have to say that finally being able to release the stories that I create in my head, getting my voice out there in the world about subjects that matter to me. That is the best thing about being a writer.
