Jeff Dawson Which one are you talking about? I'll agree about having determination. Writing is a whole new world to me and I learn something about myself and the characters each time I sit down start working on the next one.
I have five in the works. I hope this is the order they we be completed:
Third book in Gateway: Target Berlin in two to three months
Second book in Occupation: Sabotage in the fall
Second poetry book: On Angles Shoulders a work dedicated to women who have served in the armed forces, four months
Crime Thriller: Road Kill-five months
Last but not least, untitled- A novel surrounding the battle of Kursh.
Jeff Dawson I don't consider it writer's block. More along the lines of waiting for the characters to start interacting. Like us, they too take a break at times.
Jeff Dawson The freedom to explore any and all topics that come to min.
Jeff Dawson That would be the Irving Titans. One of the men in the writer's group thought it would be fascinating to write the Marketing book of Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys. I, only the other hand decided it would be more fun to write a satire on America's Team. With luck, it will be released end of November, first of December.
Jeff Dawson I never know where inspiration will come from. Over half of the works are the result of listening to people. Terror at the Sterling and the Gateway books are a perfect example. .
Jeff Dawson I'm working on five right now. The third book in the Gateway series. Second in Occupation. A humorous look at how electronics affected those of us who were the Guinea Pigs of the 70's and 80's. A satire on the Dallas Cowboys, entitled, Irving Titans and a poetry book honoring the women who served in the military.
Jeff Dawson Never give up no matter how dark it looks.
Jeff Dawson I'm doing well, Rita. Well, they just needed a break. Good to now you're still kicking about in the Great Plains. Take care of yourself.

P.S. Sorry it took so long for me to respond. The message just popped up!
