After reading the book "Lost Dogs", all about dog fighting. I was so amazed at how common and main stream this illegal "sport" was. Unbelievable as it was, this is a family activity and many inner city kids have become involved. I believed that it was something that Madison needed to be aware. There is such a stigma about Pitbull dogs and when you do the research you learn that the dogs are good at fighting for one reason: they are extremely loyal. This loyalty has been twisted, forcing these dogs through abuse, starvation and training to be violent. I believe it isn't right to punish the dogs for something people have done.
