I just finished your book Murder in the Neighborhood. I could not put it down. I would like to exchange emailed with you. My parents lived on Benson St. in Camden when this occurred. Hi Ellen, As a member of Bound by Books Club in Westmont, NJ I am really enjoying your book this month. We are having our meeting this Thursday to discuss your book. Do you have any questions that you would like me to ask our book club members regarding your book? I hope to finish it tonight so the ending is not spoiled for me during the book discussion.

Ellen J. Green Pat, I remember you from when my children were in summer rec and I'd see you at the township offices! I'm so excited that some local people are reading this book! I've lived here in Westmont for about 20 years. I do hope you like it. I haven't created any specific book club questions, but if you message me, maybe we can create some together? I have lots of scenarios tumbling around my head for novels, especially twisted ones like Twist of Faith. How long did you take to work out all of the sharp curves and crazy plot twists in your book? And did you diagram them out somehow?

Ellen J. Green Hi! Some people write with an outline. I think as you read this book you can tell I do not. It causes problems because as I'm writing a chapter I'll think of something that doesn't work with something in a previous chapter. When I finished the first draft it was like a deck of cards scattered across the floor. I had to try and line them all back up again and have it made sense. At one point I did have to have a diagram to keep it all together because it was getting too complex. The book was written in stages so it developed over a couple of years. (I started writing and then put it away, then picked it up). The end product was nothing at all like what I envisioned when I started writing. Thank you for reading!
