Amy Metz David Rosenfelt's new release Bark of Night and Delia Owens' Where the Crawdads Sing.
Amy Metz I woke up to pounding rain. It was then that I discovered my internet service was down.
Amy Metz This answer might be a little bit of a cheat, because the fictional town I'd go to is also a real town. But . . . I'd go to Boston and find all the places the main character Spenser went (restaurants, his office, his house, Susan's house, Boston Commons . . . ) and I would take pictures of them all. I'd put the pictures together in a coffee table book. I love how Robert B. Parker made Boston come alive in his books. I would love to walk the streets as Spenser did.
Amy Metz It's not really a mystery, but more life drama that will be in GPJ book 5. I have to give it some thought, but one of the characters will have a medical scare with blood clots in the brain--something I've just gone through and am recovering from.
Amy Metz My favorite fictional couple is probably Robert B. Parker's Spenser and Susan Silverman. Their connection is one of the deepest I can think of. The love, passion, and longevity of their relationship is amazing.
Amy Metz Hi Nancy, I mailed this to you right after the giveaway ended. I should have followed up with the tracking but stupidly put confidence in USPS. I will get another copy out to you ASAP.

8/26/16 Nancy--can you confirm that you got the book on Monday? Thanks!
Amy Metz It will be in Short and Tall Tales in Goose Pimple Junction, which will include a few short stories and one novelette. I'm hoping to publish it in a few months. Since you were so sweet to ask, if you'll send me your email address, I'll be happy to send A Right Good Choice to you. Thank you for your question!
Amy Metz I'm getting the second book in the series, Heroes & Hooligans in Goose Pimple Junction, ready to publish, and I'm writing the third book, Rogues & Rascals in Goose Pimple Junction.
Amy Metz I actually started writing as therapy when I was going through a tough time. Turns out I really like to write. Talk about turning a sow's ear into a silk purse!
Amy Metz The murders in Murder & Mayhem in Goose Pimple Junction came from family history. Hearing the stories as a kid, I'd always thought someone should write a book about them. I finally did.
