My family's geneology on both sides- patriarchal and matriarchal. Discovering a person's genealogy leading them on a suspenseful search resulting in an unexpected surprise could be a start to a plot.

When the outside world is chaotic I find my peace in writing. When the outside world is distracting, I find my center in writing, living through my characters. Writing is my Zen. I plan for a 5 hour stretch each day. I set timers for lunch and for me to stop. If I don't, I could get so deep into writing, so focused, I could go on for hours beyond the 5 I dedicate.

I love my sleep! I can't function on less than 7 hours. 8 to 9 hours is the perfect amount for me.

Dismantling Evan. I haven't disclosed the blurb yet, but it will bring up a very prominent and intense topic that is effecting our society. Themes of mental illness in teens, teen pressure, bullying, coming of age, and self discovery will take lead in this storyline. It will be written for a Young Adult audience but Adults will gravitate to it due to the storyline. It will release January 2015 with my publisher.
