I've always thought it was strange that I was due on April Fools Day, born on Easter, had open heart surgery shortly after birth, and Dr. Angell performed my surgery ;o) Just an interesting turn of events, you know?

Hi Jennifer!
First, thank you so much for your question and for your love of TMTF, you totally made my day!! Yes, it is being re-released in paperback next July. It has a new cover and resources page. As to why, sometimes when there is a hard cover version first, publishers release a paperback version later. They wanted to try a new cover for it, and I’m super excited that it’s getting back out there, too!
Thank you again ☺️ Happy reading!!

Great question! I do this sometimes to my friends, usually it’s because of a particular situation. For Ellery, she’s just kind of weird and likes to be awkward and make people uncomfortable. It’s her form of teasing. That’s why she calls Jackson by his first and last name too ☺️ Specifically, it’s because Colter’s last name is Sawyer. Thanks!

Florentina! Thank you so much for saying such kinds words about TMTF. I'm so glad Ellery's story resonated with you. I hope that you've found peace and happiness in your life. Loving yourself is the most important love of your life!
Thank you for asking about any future stories! I don't have anything coming officially, but I am writing a new YA contemporary that I hope resonates with fans of TMTF. Stay tuned for more! Thanks again for reaching out to me!

oh how fun!!
She woke with her hand on her heart and felt the ominous drum of the beats against her chest but quickly relaxed when she heard the whir of her fan. Relieved it was just a nightmare, she glanced toward the sound, blinking her eyes to wake up a little and saw the glow of red eyes peering back at her.

I just finished WHEN DIMPLE MET RISHI from Sandhya Menon and I adored it. Also just read WHY I LOATHE STERLING LANE by Ingrid Paulson, LOVED it. I want to get to Jenny Han's new one, ALWAYS AND FOREVER LARA JEAN. I also want to read CARAVAL by Stephanie Garber, GUARDIAN OF SECRETS by Brenda Drake, THE SLOPE RULES by Melanie Hooyenga, and BLACK HEARTS and BLACK SOULS by Nicole Castroman . I'm sure there are many more!

I am absolutely in love with Will and Tessa from the Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare. I LOVE Will. Also, Anna and Étienne and Anna from ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS from Stephanie Perkins!

(view spoiler)[Oh wow. That's a great question... I would say I would keep it YA if I did. Maybe when they're in their 20s? I'm positive the road would be a hard one, but I like to think they stay together. Call me a hopeful romantic about those two ;o) I could maybe do a short story though... You've given me something to think about. Thank you! (hide spoiler)]

Oh! I got the idea for my most recent book from watching the movie Dirty Dancing. I'm a huge fan of that movie so I wanted to create a YA that had the same aspects that are shown in it. I really love how fun it was to write!

Hi! Oh, I just loved the Baby-Sitters Club books by Ann M. Martin, and also anything from Christopher Pike. I loved how he combined suspense with mystery. My favorite was GIMME A KISS (highly underrated if you ask me!). So fun! I'm also a huge fan of J.D. Salinger's THE CATCHER IN THE RYE. I love to re-read the Harry Potter books, and there are a few Jennifer Echols books I like to dip back into as well. GOING TOO FAR and SUCH A RUSH are two of my ultimate faves of hers.

Hey! I'm so glad you got a chance to go to the B-fest event!! It was so much fun to be a part of ;o) Thank you for finding me on here! Oh, great question! I have a lot of favorite authors. Let's see... I'm such a fan of Maggie Stiefvater's writing, Rainbow Rowell, Sabaa Tahir, Morgan Matson, wow there are so many others, I could list them all day ;o)

That's a great question! Hmm, I tend to write in spurts so I'm mostly influenced by how much free time I have to do it, BUT it's definitely exciting having others read my words. It does add a new layer to my writing process. A good layer ;o) A motivational layer!

I'm working on a much lighter contemporary than TMTF. It's about a girl who can't dance and is sent to dance camp with her sister as a punishment and falls in love with her instructor. It was so much fun to write!

Oh that sounds like a great one! I can't wait!

Living more lives. That's kind of what it's like, right? But really, it's that I can take my hopes, dreams, nightmares, fears, emotions, and create something beautiful (hopefully, not on the first draft, let's be honest. LOL) with them. I'm never bored because I can write about anything and it helps break up the hum-drum of life. I love the writing community too. No better community to be a part of. One of the best things is finishing a project. Getting to that elusive end, even if I know mounds or revision are ahead, just the idea that I can do that...

First, if you write, you're a writer, none of this aspiring stuff! When you first start out concentrate on your writing before worrying about how/when it will be published. It's easy to get taken in by the glamour of the publishing industry, new deals, and new ideas by other authors. Concentrate on your words and have patience. Everything good comes with time ;o)
Also, keep positive and never compare your beginning to someone else's middle. Support other writers and never lose that hope and wonder about the world; it will help see you through times when it's more difficult out there, and those writers you support? They'll be there to hold your hand through it all ;o) Good luck!

The quick answer is music. The longer answer is by everything around me. I can find myself driving in my Jeep and then an idea hits. That idea spirals into another and I find myself plotting a story. That's when I get really excited and inspired to write. Also, reading a good book or watching a movie. When I immerse myself into a story, whether on paper or on the screen, it almost always inspires to write my own ;o)

Hi!
Thanks for your question! Hmmm, I think I've always wanted to write a book (everyone says that, right? LOL) I started with poetry since that's what was in my heart at the time. I got the itch to write a book after reading Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. She writes such funny dialogue and I thought, hey, maybe I could do that. So I tried to write a book. Then tried again... and again. I also got involved in blogs, twitter, and tried to immerse myself into the writing community. I wrote and wrote and revised for years. It really is just about sitting your butt in the chair and writing! But being a part of a supportive community is just as important. I couldn't have accomplished much without the help of others, that's for sure. Thanks so much ;o)
