Kris Kramer Write. I heard a quote once that has always stuck with me. "People don't want to write a book. They want to have written a book." You have to put in the work and actually write, every day if you can, if you want to be a successful author. It's really that simple.
Write.
Write every day.
Kris Kramer I actually got it from a friend of mine, a fellow author named Patrick Underhill. We were out eating one day years ago and he told me about a cool idea he had, but that he didn't think he had time to write. So I snapped it up! Which is fine because he's now slowly working on a story idea that he originally got from me!
Kris Kramer Hearing from readers that the stories I tell are at least as interesting as I think they are!
Kris Kramer Usually, when I get writer's block, I tend to move around. Walking or driving get my brain juices flowing. If the issue is a little harder to deal with than that, however, I just switch to another chapter/section, or to another book entirely. I tend to work on projects in parallel, so I can hop back and forth when I hit a wall.
Kris Kramer Multiple books - Cithria books 4 and 5, the sequel to Olympia, the sequel to Sanctuary. Lore Valley books 5 and 6, and the sequel to The Extraction.
