Susan Elle Now that I am a full time author (previously ICU nurse) I can let my imagination run wild for as many hours of the day that I chose and can work from anywhere. All I need to do is make sure my laptop if fully charged and off I go - on a summer's day I can write in Bradgate Park, a beautiful place where deer run free and often watch the crazy lady tapping away on her laptop, lol.
Susan Elle I seem to have been fortunate thus far in my writing, while I do have to work hard at developing an interesting plot, I have never suffered from writer's block. Ideas just seem to pop into my head at odd moments and I jot them down for later use.
Susan Elle My latest book, Travis, is the third in an ongoing series that follows on from The Sara Colson Trilogy.
Lots of readers said that they were sad the story had come to an end and this is where the idea for the CCS Investigations series came from.
The 'Travis' story was, again, inspired by my readers. Many of them wanted to know the background to his facial disfigurement; who or what had caused it and why.
One of my greatest pleasures, as a writer, is getting to know what my readers think and responding to it in a positive, productive way.
I wonder what they'll inspire me to write next? xxx
