L.M. Chilcott Actually I haven't placed any on it yet, because I am in my last term finishing up my MA over the summer. So maybe a winter reading list?
L.M. Chilcott Hmmm...I would have to say...how my phone keeps disappearing here in the house. I have lost 2 phones now in the last 2 months and I know they are here in the house. so do I have house sprites? A ghost who needs a cell? or is the house just hungry for house sprites?
L.M. Chilcott Here's how my writers block usually happens. I feel/sense/see a scene in my mind and then I write it down from pen to paper. Once I have written I can write out, the scenes no longer come to me easily. So then I hit the blockade. At this point its time for me to type what I have written and insert it in its appropriate place in the novel (I create symbols and markers on the written piece to let me know where its going.) Once I have typed up everything and go over what needs to be added, then the scenes start coming to me again and the cycle repeats. It's almost like a self-induced writers block to keep the project going.
L.M. Chilcott Spending time in my world. With my characters. With the evils and goods I created ant the worlds.
L.M. Chilcott No matter what, keep writing. Even if you never plan to submit anywhere, just keep doing it. Writing, is our calling, and if we don't answer, then our characters will bring us to task until we do.
L.M. Chilcott Eloah's Fountain and A Prince And His Dragon: Dragon Sight
L.M. Chilcott Nature. Family. Life really. Other stories I read. I read awesome stories and think, "wow. I wanna do that. I wanna create something just as awesome." That and the scenes just come to me when I see these things, and when they don't....I pretend that they do :)
L.M. Chilcott Right now I am working two books. I am working on the third book in the Eloah series, Eloah's Fountain. The idea for this book really developed from the last two books. Alanaise, Braya and Beurie find themselves in some pretty perspicuity situations that require them to lower their judgments of other races and keep an open mind when it comes to the merfolk and Sirens.

The other book I am working on, is the second book in the Dragon series, Dragon Sight. Prince Logen has now bonded with his dragon as per the first book and now must learn to adapt to his environment as his body adapts to his new dragon senses. My ideas come from collaborating with my 8yo son.
