I am working on a new middle grade series. It is fiction and the kids are related to those in the Trahe Chronicles book series. The new series (no title yet) will be about 3 kids who have adventures on Earth.

Having someone read your book. One of my best days was receiving my first fan email from a mom whose daughter read and loved my book. She wanted to know where she could purchase book 2. I continued to write after that email....on book 2!

Write down anything and every thought. My husband bought me a voice recorder, so I could speak every idea. Some I use in my books. Some I don't.

Dreams, life, kids, movies - basically anything can inspire me. Sometimes when I sit down to write, I open a window to listen to birds. The outdoors really inspires me. Especially, the lakes and oceans. Smell, breathe, and capture the moment.
