I don't know. It can be a movie, a book, a song, food or a smell. From there stories just evolve and I start writing.

Go slow, writing is not a race. Don't write for weeks if it helps. Don't put a deadline on yourself. Also take critics seriously and yet not that seriously, if you know what I mean.
