By far the best thing about being a writer is the connections you make with people through your words. To be able to touch someone with your thoughts and to possibly inspire others to do what you do is as intimate as you can get.

During the writing of my latest book, Love Letters From Barstow I hit some serious writer's block about half way through. It was around that time I reread Kurt Vonnegut's, Breakfast of Champions and that book gave me the courage to write again. It reminds that the voices in your head can be constructive.
