What is your favorite genre to read?

I love reading contemporary and Highlander romances best. I don't read much regency or other historicals. Just Highlanders. For contemporary authors, I love Cara McKenna, Charlotte Stein, and Ruthie Knox. When I'm in the mood for Sci-fi rom, I read Evangeline Anderson.

Jessi Gage From a story my mother tells about a ghost she saw when she was a kid.

Jessi Gage Watching people. Watching TV. Listening to my heart.

Jessi Gage Raising two little kids. In my minute and a half of spare time each day, I write books about love and ghosts and adventure.

Jessi Gage Read. A lot.
Write. Finish stories. Get critique-advice.
Decide what you want out of a writing career, and shape your work accordingly. It won't happen by accident. You have to work for it.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jessi Gage Working in my pajamas. Getting paid for fantasizing. Loving my job.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jessi Gage I read. A lot. And I pick books based on how entertaining I think they'll be, not necessarily books like the one I'm stuck on. The muse gets recharged by first being fed with awesome, creative, sexy writing.
