Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Janice Lane Palko Our Lady of the Roses is a romantic comedy novel about a character that appeared in St. Anne's Day. So many readers asked for another romcom, that I felt obliged to write one.

How do you get inspired to write?
Janice Lane Palko I'm always inspired but finding the time to write is always my biggest challenge.

What are you currently working on?
Janice Lane Palko I'm currently working on the launch of Most Highly Favored Daughter and writing my next novel, Our Lady of the Roses, which follows a character from my first novel, St. Anne's Day.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Janice Lane Palko You've got to love it. You need to love writing so much that you would do it without getting paid, which in all likelihood will be the case for a while when a newbie.

Janice Lane Palko I love the creative rush of creating something out of nothing.

Janice Lane Palko I deny its existence. If I don't acknowledge it, it isn't there and can't stymie my writing.
