As of July 2014, I'm getting ready to make final edits on my mystery novel, titled Undertow. It will be published in November, and I'm very excited about it! It's about a crime journalist who has problems with obsessive thoughts and alcoholism, and his investigation into the case of a women's college basketball coach who's on death row for the murder of one of his players.

I've been fortunate; I've rarely had to deal with writer's block. I may get stuck on plot mechanics, but usually if I step away from the manuscript for a few days, the ideas I need will come to me (usually at 3 a.m. or when I'm in the shower, of course).
