I became frustrated at the amount of confusion, conflicting statements, poor scholarship and all round mess over the historical background to the current conflict over Israel.
Add to this blatant falsehoods told by supposed Christian leaders about what the understanding of prophecy about Israel has been in the church.
So, I determined to work carefully through all this and present my findings in a readable and accessible form. Lots of footnotes but the text isn't academic.
I was surprised by the clarity and strength of evidence for the narrative that emerged - very different from what we are usually told - and by the detailed fulfillment of prophecy.
Yet many scream against this, and many become misled or confused or give up. But, it matters. READ THE BOOK .
