Yes! I have a short story (Cart Rage) currently out as well as short stories (Priapism and Nurture and Feed) within two anthologies—Dead Girls and Dead Things 2 and Seasons of Fear, respectively. Additionally, I am working on completing my Man Cave sequel (At Her Mercy) which I’d hoped would be done this year but will take a couple more months to wrap up and edit. After that, I have some other novellas and novels planned, including a collection of extreme horror shorts in Chicken Soup for the Psychopath’s Soul, the final installment to my Merry Murder series, a novel called Mother Mayhem and a supernatural horror story called Sasha. I have plenty more ideas and I am planning for a very productive 2025. Thank you so much for your support!

In the beginning...no wait, that sounds too Biblical!
Back in the day...no wait, that makes me sound too old!
When I first began writing about a decade ago, I was a huge fan of the typical well-known names in horror, such as Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Bentley Little, Ray Garton, and Brian Keene. While I still think those authors are awesome, I have discovered so many talented indie authors. Some of my favorite authors now are Aron Beauregard, Otis Bateman, Sam West, Eugenie Mitchell, Jeffrey Caston, Henk Wester, Edward Lorn, Kristofer Triana, Daniel Volpe, Shane McKenzie, C.V. Hunt, Simon McHardy, Sean Hawker, Jon Athan, Carver Pike, David Brian, Jeff Menapace, Ash Ericmore and Paul Tremblay.
As for books, my favorite horror series is the Bad Games series by Jeff Menapace. My favorite extreme horror books are The Slob and Son of The Slob by Aron Beauregard, which are gut-wrenchingly good! Otis Bateman’s My Vice is Your Unfathomable Agony, which is so incredibly brutal! The Djinn by Sam West, along with its sequel, are also favorites—totally sick and twisted! The Food books by Jeffrey Caston keep getting better and better—for those with an appetite for cannibalism!
When I need a break from horror and gore, I turn to Eugenie Mitchell who never fails to refresh my spirit with her incredibly heartwarming stories.

Yes, sometimes I do get criticized for writing such extreme horror and for delving into those taboo areas that take people far beyond their comfort zone. I think that a great thing about horror fiction is that sometimes it can actually scare readers enough to make them appreciate their own lives more. I am always careful to warn people about the nature of my books.
When I first began writing, I worried about what people would think of me. I even attempted to curb the amount of gore and depravity in my books. But, for whatever reason, I find it so much easier to write about truly horrifying, appalling things. I don't do it for mere shock value. I do it to try to get readers to truly experience what my characters are going through. I still worry sometimes about exceeding the bounds of decency, but all I can do is hope that my stories are read by those who can handle extreme horror, gore and mayhem.
I feel as though I'm still getting a feel for writing and honing my skills. One day, I hope to be able to travel and have book signings. But if you're ever in Long Island, NY, reach out to me! In the meantime, remove those books from your Amazon cart and please check your inbox.

Thanks, Jessie! I know I wrote the stories out of order, with the second book as the prequel. I think it's best to read the first book first. Book two isn't even necessary--it's more for the background/history--and it's, by far, the goriest and most disturbing of the three books. Most readers just choose to go straight to the third book after the first.

Thank you so very much, Heather. I greatly appreciate your kind words and support. To be honest, I'm still struggling to find that appropriate balance of horror and gore. As you know, I tend to go a "bit" overboard at times with the carnage. I'm currently working on a milder horror novel (despite the title, "Mother Mayhem") and plan to release something far more gruesome during the early part of next year. Thanks again!

Thanks so much, Gina! Yes, I've made the switch from Chick-lit back to horror so I should be releasing a short horror story entitled "Love You to Pieces" within the next few weeks. I think my favorite, thus far, is Omerion. I enjoyed writing in the first person, through the main character's perspective. I also enjoyed creating a version of Hell that is pretty unique. It was a fun book to create!
